Hairy the Caterpillar

Meet Hairy our new pet caterpillar.  Asher was SO excited to find this little guy and give him a home and we learned all about caterpillars in the process.  Perfect science lesson for the week!

FALL

It's FALL!  My absolute favorite season.  This was the view from our window today.  Maybe it's just because I'm pregnant, but freshly cut hay smelled wonderful today.

Asher's Bedtime Stories

Asher was bored of all our books tonight at bedtime.  So, he decided to write some of his own.  He brought me a pen and paper, and so began a new bedtime routine.  I will post these often...at least the really funny or cute ones.  Enjoy!


"Lemuel and Buzz Lightyear"


Once upon a time the bad guys were going to get another Asher.  (not me, a different Asher)  Then Buzz Lightyear brought the other Asher to his home.  Then the bad guys all went home.  Lemuel was supposed to be at Buzz Lightyear's home because he was Buzz Lightyear's brother and his name was Buzz Lightyear Lemuel.

The bad guys got Buzz Lightyear and Woody and Jessie.  Then, Buzz Lightyear saved Jessie and Woody and brought them to his home.  Then they played a board game.  They wrote.  They played tag.  Then they played hide-and-seek.  Then they went to the store.  Then an angel came and told them the bad guys were going to steal all their food.  So, Buzz Lightyear killed the bad guys and went home and played a different board game.

We found a hamster cage at a garage sale for cheap and decided it was time for Asher to get his first pet...a cute little hamster he decided to call Dasher.  He first wanted to name him Hamster.  We said no.  (its actually a girl but Asher says its a boy)  He wanted to name him Asher. We said he couldn't name it Asher cuz that name is taken.  So he modified it to Dasher.  He loves that little guy, especially when he runs around in his little ball.  Best part was we scored the little fur ball for free because it was a runt and was getting picked on, so they were giving it away.  Best thing I never bought.

Mom is sick today so could you please not whine, cry, scream, refuse to take a nap, pee your pants, hit your sister, or cause any other mischief today?  Also, if you could do the laundry, that'd be great.  Thanks.
